Coming up! Our 1st Spirit Night of the Year: Cremalosa on Aug. 23rd
Spirit nights are a chance for us to gather as a community, support a local business, and receive a portion of proceeds as a fundraiser. Cremalosa offers delicious gelato, coffee, wine, and adults-only milkshakes. They will donate 10% of its sales from August 23 to the Talley PTO. Weather permitting, the PTO will lead a group walk over to Cremalosa after school that day (every child must be accompanied by a caregiver!) Meet in front of the school and we will depart at 2:30 pm sharp. If you can’t join us then, make sure to stop by later for a cold treat—they are open until 8pm! Thanks to Cremalosa for sponsoring this Spirit Day!
Fundraising
The PTO helps our school purchase technology, programs, and materials that are not in their budget as well as supporting our teachers, staff, and students throughout the year.
There are multiple ways to financially support these efforts.
HOW IT'S DONE...
Teachers, families and local businesses work together to accomplish these goals by:
- Joining the PTO with a membership donation
- Going out on Spirit Nights (Restaurant and business events that give us a percentage of proceeds)
- Buying Spirit Wear
- Donating online (or in person)
- Using the Box Tops for Education app
- Shopping at certain local and national retailers with our affiliate links and codes
- Participating in our events through ticket sales: TigerFest
- Encouraging businesses to become PTO and event Sponsors
