We are wrapping up the year…
The PTO will still be busy over the summer - our fiscal year is July-June. We are still hoping to find adults to help us fill these roles by next fall:
Communications team lead: This is not as intimidating as it might sound! We need someone who comes to our monthly meetings, knows what’s going on, and can help organize our communications team made up of an eblast volunteer, a social media volunteer, a website volunteer, and a graphics volunteer.
Graphics volunteer (on the comms team): Speaking of the comms team, we need someone adept at Canva or other visual software who can design banners, yard signs, posters, etc. for the PTO to send to print.
Sponsorship Co-chairs: We need 2 people to help us over the summer to find sponsors for the school year and then manage getting them exposure and signage throughout the school year.
Secretary: Like it sounds :) Come to meetings, take notes for us, and maintain copies on the website.
4th Grade member-at-large: a Parent of a rising 4th grader. This is a voting position with the expectation that you lead a committee or event.
Yearbook committee member: Our Yearbook chair is looking for ideally a rising 3rd-grade parent to shadow and learn the ropes.
2 Spiritwear co-chairs: we need 2 folks to help us coordinate our spiritwear inventory and shop
2 Room Parent Coordinator Committee members: our existing 3 co-chairs are looking for 2 rising 3rd-grade parents to join them and learn the ropes. This is a fun way to show your creativity and shower our staff with appreciation.
Staff Appreciation Chair: This is a 1 to 2 person job (if you want to bring a friend) of showering our non-classroom staff with appreciation throughout the year.
True Book Fair volunteer: Our True Book Fair Chair is looking for a 3rd grade parent to come shadow and learn the ropes. The book fair takes place in May.
Garden Committee: Our 2 garden co-chais and their trusty volunteers are always searching for more volunteers and leadership on the committee.
Safe Routes to School committee member: Our seasoned SRTS co-chairs are hoping to find a 3rd grade parent who wants to shadow and learn the ropes.
Passive Fundraising Chair: We are looking for 1 person to keep track of current passive fundraising, and keep an eye out for new ideas!
Grants Committee member: Our 2 co-chairs are looking for another person to help us decide how, when, and where to spend our funds!
Team Titan: We need 1-2 people interested in wearing the Titan mascot costume at events and 1-2 people interested in being the mascot handlers.
Volunteer Management: historically we have managed volunteers on an event-to-event basis. If we can find an interested and organized person to take this on, we would love to create a centralized way of communicating with our amazing volunteers. This Chairperson would also put on the end-of-year volunteer appreciation.
Want to volunteer but not year-round? We’ve got spots for you too. We usually crowd source among the PTO leadership to run our events throughout the year, but we would gladly welcome new people and energy to any of these (not an exhaustive list):
